Kennebunk Savings

Kennebunk Savings supports community development programs and local charitable organizations with access to funding driven by the values of the people we serve. Our Community Investment Program offers direct grants as well as sponsorships, and encourages our employees to be active volunteers throughout the community.

Our financial support focuses on five key categories:

• Arts programs that preserve and enhance the cultural opportunities and infrastructures of our community
• Civic Initiatives that promote economic development, improve quality of life for local citizens, and strengthen the basic foundation of our community
• Education programs that enhance academic achievements and aspirations for all citizens in the community
• Environmental Programs that protect and preserve the unique landscapes and wildlife habitats in our communities
• Human Services organizations and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for citizens of our community, especially those most in need

Huntington Common Charitable Fund for Seniors

Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation's Huntington Common Charitable Fund for Seniors was established with the proceeds from the conversion and sale of Huntington Common Retirement Living Community in 2006. Each year, the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation allocates earnings of the Huntington Common Fund to qualified organizations serving York County residents ages 65 and older.

Customer ballot

Once a year, our customers can cast their vote to help distribute a portion of our charitable funds. Watch for your annual ballot in the mail.

Direct Request

Organizations may request funding online or through a banking office or lending officer. Our Community Investment Committee meets monthly to review requests submitted by non-profit and charitable organizations. Decisions are based on potential impact in the community, support from others in the private and public sector, and relevance to the Community Investment goals within our five key categories.
